ForwardWorks and Nippon Ichi Software's DISGAEA RPG (Free) was released in Japan in 2019 for free on iOS and Android devices. DISGAEA RPG is a free-to-play entry in the excellent DISGAEA series, which has seen many entries arrive in the West across consoles, PC, and, more recently, mobile platforms with titles such as DISGAEA 1 COMPLETE. Boltrend Games, which previously released Idola Phantasy Star Saga and announced a global release for Arc the Lad R, is handling publishing duties for DISGAEA RPG, which is now available for free on iOS and Android. Aside from protagonists, DISGAEA RPG includes a mix of original stories and the ability to relive key moments from previous games via the "Netherworld History," which is accompanied by music from the DISGAEA games.
However, fans of the series will recognize other elements in DISGAEA RPG, such as calling the "Dark Assembly" to unlock various content, traveling the infinite "Item World" to upgrade your equipment, and challenging the "Overlord's Tower" to earn special rewards.
It isn't a DISGAEA game unless there are massive numbers involved, and DISGAEA RPG allows you to awaken and upgrade characters up to level 9999 while dealing billions of dollars in damage during turn-based battles. DISGAEA RPG includes auto-battle options with support for up to 4x the speed in terms of quality of life features.
With DISGAEA 4 COMPLETE+ recently released on PC following its console release and DISGAEA 6 coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch this June, DISGAEA fans have a lot to play and can't wait to get started with DISGAEA RPG.
